The SWARCO Raiders, that is Wink.

The SWARCO Raiders, marketing teammate of The Oakland Raiders, have finished their search for a new head coach. The new leading man on the sidelines of the Tyroleans is Shuan Fatah. The reigning Eurobowl champion coach, German Bowl finalist 2010 and longtime NFL Europe coach has signed a three-year contract. The SWARCO Raiders also brought in Lee Rowland as their new offensive coordinator.

"We have absolutely taken our time to find the right guy for the head coaching job and we’re very pleased to have the chance to work with Shuan Fatah," said SWARCO Raiders president Elisabeth Swarovski. “Shuan Fatah fits our coaching profile to a hundred percent. He also is one of the most successful coaches in Europe.”

The 42-year-old Fatah has won four World Bowl championships in NFL Europa (once with the Hamburg Sea Devils, three times with Berlin Thunder) and also collected six German Bowl rings (three each as a coach and a player). He won all German championships with Berlin Adler.

“The SWARCO Raiders are one of the best addresses in Europe. To be the team’s head coach is a great challenge,” said Fatah. “I’m excited to be a part of this first-class organization and I hope that we can build on the success of the previous years.”

The last two seasons Fatah worked as the head coach for Berlin Adler. He led the club from the German capital to one national title and won the 2010 Eurobowl. Before that he was the head coach for the Dresden Monarchs for one year. From 1998 to 2007 Fatah worked in the NFL Europa for the Hamburg Sea Devils and Berlin Thunder as well as for the league itself.

Prior to his stint with NFL Europa, Fatah coached three seasons at Nichols College (NCAA Division III). He started his coaching career in 1991 with Berlin Adler after a long and successful time as an Adler player.

The Berlin native will be assisted by Lee Rowland, who has worked with Fatah for the last three years. The UK native helped Fatah win the 2010 Eurobowl as well as the 2009 German championship. During his coaching career Rowland also won two previous Eurobowls, the EFAF-Cup and three British championships. He also coached in NFL Europa (2007 for Cologne).
