For the first time since the 2002 season, the Oakland Raiders (5-4) are sitting on a three-game winning streak and can now claim the top spot in the AFC West.

The Denver Broncos (3-6) trounced the Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) 49-29 today, which helped nudge the Silver & Black up the standings

Oakland is undefeated against AFC west opponents (3-0) and 4-1 at home. They are in a tie record wise with the Chiefs, but hold the edge because of their head-to-head victory against Kansas City.

Sitting pretty at #1! We now control ALL tie breakers in the AFC West.

The good is.....we are tied for 1st place. Now, the odds are against this Sunday. We take Pittsburg on the road and Kansas City gets Arizona at home. We shall overcome????? Vegas is betting against us this week.

That's going to be a tough game for us but this team has surprised us with its resilience thus far so I expect a great effort- 17-16 Raiders?
