If Chad Ochcocinco and the Cincinnati Bengals are truly headed for a divorce as speculated on Bengals.com, Hue Jackson’s presence as head coach would seem to make the Raiders a potential destination.

If the team’s own Web site is floating the possibility, there’s probably something there.

When Jackson was hired, Ochocinco said on his Twitter account: “Congratulations 2 Hue Jackson for becoming the Oakland Raiders new head coach. Best receiver coach I ever had.”

Earlier this month, there were these tweets:

“I would not care where Hue Jackson got a job. I would go play for him, run through a wall, jump in front of a bus, etc. u get the point.”

“Man that was the greatest coach I ever had. Hue Jackson would choke me out, cuss me out, just to make sure I was precise on everything."

“It would be refreshing to be with Hue Jackson again. I know I wouldn’t have to worry about being thrown under a bus again.”

The “under the bus” reference has to do with his strained relationship with current Bengals coach Marvin Lewis.

Hmm- I'm not sure what to think of this. But if Ochocinco is willing to be a good Raiders teammate and can be had for a good price, I wouldn't mind giving him a shot.

I'd rather have them go after someone like Vincent Jackson or Sidney Rice, plus the Raiders would have to make a trade for Chad because I believe he has 1 more year left on his contract. If the Raiders are going to trade for a WR they might as well go balls to the wall and go after Larry Fitzgerald. Now that is a pipe dream.

^^You're right Mojo- I thought he was going to be a FA. But yeah Jackson or Rice sound like good options for the off season.

Well I guess he could always get traded too. Looking at the Raiders draft picks, it doesn't seem like they can afford to make any though.

Bring him in if it doesn't break the bank.
