Aw crap- he's really been a difference maker. Hopefully the offense can convert lots of 3rd downs....

LA Times reported to day an inside source state that Carson will not start on Sunday. Kyle will start. They both took even amount of snaps in practice. I still beleive without Seabass this team will really ahve to play hard to win. He is/was our ace in the hole. When you ahve a guy that can nail them form 50 yards vs not having that guy, the game plan really uber changes.

It's gonna be tough with Jano, who is without a doubt one of our biggest weapons. Does anyone know who the Raiders brought in as his temp?

^^I heard that had a tryout with 3 kickers- I'm not sure who will be the main kicker, but they signed Dave Rayner, so he probably will be the guy. Hopefully after the bye week Jano will be back 100%.

Going to miss Janikowski, he is the difference maker in most games. Can't believe Chaz is out again. Having said that.............

What year is this,,,2008? 'Cause that seems to be the Raider team that is suited up right now. Had I known Boller was 0-10 as a starter I would not have picked the Raiders in my pool. This really sucks.

Well at least the Chargers blew it so worst case scenario, we need to regroup and beat the ^&*$ out of them.

He probably won't unless it's a blow out. I'm sure he's not familiar enough with the offense.

If by GO TIME you mean,,get on BART and go home you could be right.

Wierd observation from an SC fan,,,our team beat up ND yesterday,,a game we were supposed ot lose by 10. Today,,Sanchez gets an unlikley win, Cassell (who was Carson's room mate and best man for his wedding) is having an over his head day, as is his team.

So,,Carson,,,your turn.

ANother question to ponder,,,if this is the team we now have all of a sudden, was the Carson trade premature with respect to giving up one first round draft choice? Or is it moot because we have a new QB too.

Another thing,,may though Kyle would be fine today and many of us though DMC would keep us in the W column. But with DMC out (and for how long) and obviously Kyle is not really a starter,,where do we go form here?

Well I guess it was go time...jeez.

First shut out for the Chiefs since '73. I can't believe they threw 6 picks in the game. If it weren't for those turnovers, it would have been 7-0. Horrible play calling by the coaching staff, and horrible decision making by our 2 QBs. Hue Jackson did not have his team ready today at all. Instead of going with more of a straight forward game planning leading with the run, he let's Boller do whatever he wants out there and goes crazy with the stupid trick plays. Bush could have had a monster day today if Hue would have kept pouring on the run game. In hindsight, I wish Palmer wouldn't have stepped in when we were down 21-0, that just exposed him. Oh well.

On a positive note, the defense looked good and held KC down for the most part. They were just gassed in the end from being on the field for too long and they were obviously frustrated.

Well see you in 2 weeks

Saw Palmer's post game interview about 20 minutes ago. He said that he shared only 20% of the snaps with Pryor while Boller took 80% and that he only knows 10% of the playbook at the moment.

Of all the games where we needed to run our most conservative offense it was this one. With our starting QB down, a backup QB who hadn't started a game in 3 years, and a new QB who only had 5 practices, why were we throwing down field and using a lot of trick plays. We should have pounded the ball with the run, thrown 5 yards passes, west coast offense style, with easy back up plans if the primary receiver was covered. Instead we did something else. I actually put this humiliating loss on Coach Jackson.

Welcome to the Black Hole, Tim Tebow. We'll be waiting Mr. Green

Tebow irritates me as much as Elway did,,and I hated Elway (and still do). Tebow because all the taling heads have annointed him the greatest thing ever (until next year when all we will hear aobut is Andruw Luck).

Raiders are going to rip Tebow another new one,,I say another because he had a new one ripped open last week. Denver will be demolished.

It is the season where the bottom dwellers,,aka us and the chiefs, rise to the top and the old guard,,SD and DEN will get flushed away. You watch,,it will happen.

Tebow had a horrible game in his last outing. His confidence must be shot. 7 sacks, 1 interception and 1 fumbled that led to touchdowns. His passing efficiency was bad. Here comes the blitz baby.

Well,,the Raider O-Line better give Carson more protection or this could turn ugly. Tebow sucks but it is a mtatter of time before he gets lucky and gets a good one off. Raiders defense needs to hurt more players and crush his confidence. As I type this he runs for 40 yards.. He needs to be hurt and soon.

Damn just got burned by Tebow. We better not allow any more TD's because we're having problems getting into the endzone. I'm hoping for a 15-10 type score in our favor.

Pretty good game so far. Palmer started out slow but is picking it up, Bush was exceptional, and our receivers have done a good job. We just have to cut the penalties.

yup,,it's officially 2005 again,,I thought for sure we had turned a corner,,well I guess we did but we turned the wrong corner,,,,and that many penalties is NOT ACCEPTABLE WHEN YOU AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY PAST THEM

Geez- when you allow two different guys to rush for over 100 yards in a game- you're gonna lose. Terrible defensive effort and terrible special teams play. This is against a team that really struggles offensively. Carson looked sharper out there and Bush did well, but the D- holy crap.

Well guys,,maybe we can catch the Chargers sleeping. No one at all,,as far as the talking head pundits,,give s any chance whatsoever. Maybe the Charges will believe this too and we can catch them.

Aside from Run DMC,,,we are also going to miss a minor part of our team (insert frowning smiley),,,,it would seem our cornerbacks are ailing too. Aw,,,who needs defensive backs against Rivers.

Great game all around- the defense was MUCH better, and the O-line really stepped up to protect Palmer and helped Bush run wild on the Charger D. Palmer was really sharp- he has something nice going with Denarius Moore with some looong passes. That one INT wasn't really his fault as Bush missed a block. Really nice to see Carson looking good like that. And if we could keep it going on the ground this is a pretty potent offense to contend with. The D just has to be more consistent, but a good game on their part tonight.

1st place now!

Carson Palmer did one of the best post game interviews I have seen lately. He was class all the way. He thanked so many of the Raider Nation for showing up to support them in SD. And then he only spoke about how they are going to continue to get better.

What about Denarious Moore? Are you kidding me. I think we might have finally found the WR who is definitely a game changer. And Carson obviously likes throwing to him. If we win the division......make it through the playoffs.....and on to the SuperBowl, it will be because we can run the ball and the Palmer to Moore connection continues to dominate.

^^Yeah Denarius made some crazy catches in stride. I still can't believe he held on to that finger-tip catch. With Bush and Run DMC on the ground and Carson at QB, + our strong kicking game, my main concern is with the defense. Can they show up to play every week in a more consistent fashion?

Great great win for the Raiders. Palmer was fantastic for 3 quarters and that pass he threw to Moore (finger tip catch!) was beautiful.

The defense completely locked down the Chargers offense for most of the game. Wimbley was an absolute mad man and quickly became Rivers' worst nightmare.

Michael Bush was awesome as well, with 230+ yards from the line of scrimmage. I love seeing that prima madonna crying to refs every time he's thrown to the ground.

Anyways, I say that Bush should get the start next week, or at least split carries with McFadden. And I hope that our D is ready for AP, I'm gonna have nightmares thinking about how he is gonna tear our front 7 a new one.

Ok, we have a 1/2 game lead. We really need this one to stay in first place. This is a must win against a team we should beat. We have games coming up against the Bears and the Packers that will be real tough. So we have to win the easier ones. Go Raiders. Just win baby. The Vikings are toast.

Our running game is going to have a great day. It is just a matter of time until Bush break a big one. Reese is going to break out as well.

Wow,,that game was way harder then it should have been,,especially with a rookie QB and us taking out their star RB. Man I hope Heyward-Bey is okay,,that was one heck of an injury and hearing nothing is pretty scary.
