Pretty wild scenarios but I suppose he is right. the key is Tom frackin Brady. He needs to do his job Sunday,,as does of course our team. Anyhow:
That three-game winning streak has faded into memory. The Raiders are trying to stop a slide in which they've been outscored 77-7 in the first three quarters of the past two games, routs by Miami and Green Bay.
They don't know whether running back Darren McFadden will return Sunday against Detroit. He has been out since the loss to Kansas City on Oct. 23 because of a sprained foot.
Having fallen to 7-6, the Raiders are a game behind the Broncos (8-5) in the AFC West with three games left. The Broncos hold a tie-breaker advantage over the Raiders because of a better division record.
Even if they lose Sunday's game back in the cozy comfort of the Black Hole, the Raiders still could win the division by gaining the tiebreaker advantage. That would require beating the Chiefs (5-8) on the road and the Chargers (6-7) at home and the Broncos losing to Kansas City in the regular-season finale. Denver's other games: against New England (10-3) at home before traveling to Buffalo (5-8).
