I wish I had good news but so far it looks like the Fox Network thinks it is smarter to carry a game with two east coast teams instead of two west coast teams for a west coast audience. In my area they are showing Baltimore vs Detroit.

Please update this thread is you have any updates about how the game might be carried on another channel or network. I may have to go to a sports bar to see the game if they can get a feed.

If you are in Arizona or Oakland you can see the game on KNXV-TV (Arizona) and KQCA-TV(Ch 2 Oakland). If you want to pony up some cash you can go to https://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/secure/packages?ttv=0&ttp=3

If in LA, KTLA will be carrying the game Live at 7PM and delayed at 12:30PM on Saturday. In the greated LA area check your CW feed.

I think we will see a little more of McFadden this week, but will still get a lot of Leinert and Pryor in the second half.

I hope we put some points up on the board in this game. The team really didn't have much time to prepare. You rarely see a Monday night game followed up by a Friday night game.

Who do you think will surprise us this week?

I guess I am not going to get a signal here where I live, so I may have to head down to the local sports bar. Geez, love watching it on my big screen at home with surround sound that I can here. Can't here that well in the bar.

Well, looks like the turnovers was what killed us- a couple of fumbles and the Carson Palmer INT. We controlled the time of possession, but coughing up the ball was key. At least the offense sans the TO's was way better.

I was quite concerned watching the offense at times, namely the line...

As you know, we have gone back to a zone blocking scheme instead of the power blocking scheme.. Free agent Briesel who came from Houston is supposed to be well versed in the zone scheme, hence his acquisition..

However, this was the second straight preseason game in which I thought he was the weak link of the line... Last week against Dallas, he failed to git a fingertip on a defender downfield on the McFadden bubble screen, and again this week a screen is drawn up, Briesel gets downfield, and again, fails to put a finger on a would be tackler... Also, his run blocking seems to be poor as well... Not impressed with him, at all..

Another guy who I was unimpressed with was Mike Goodson.. A reputed fumbler, coughed it up twice last night, and on one play the defender placed his helmet right on the ball and popped it loose, Goodson's reaction was as if he'd just been drilled with a taser gun, as he went limp for about 5 seconds. Problem was, he wasn't hit hard at all....

We need to get our other guys healthy, namely Taiwan Jones, and Denarius Moore....

As an aside, the starting defensive line seems to be awesome... All the same players, but a scheme changed coupled with Coach Allen making them all report to camp at a certain weight, seems to be making a difference..

That game was ugly. You know I am a huge SC homer along with the Raiders (been an SC fan 2 years longer then a Raiders fan,,and that is longer then many of you have been around,,not your fault,,I am jut old !)) and if I could have crawled through the TV last night I would have and I would have punched Lumpkin dead in the throat. You cannot,,as a 3rd string backup in a pre-season game,,pull the BS and get away with it. Of course i mean the hit on Leinart.

Our line needs work or Carson will need work before this season is over.

Mike Goodson can only replace M Bush in his dreams. Our biggest mistake was letting Bush go without getting an aqdequate replacement, especially since RunDmc is injury prone. Our best running back after McFadden is Reece our FB.

Also, Leinert looks like a starting QB to me. If Palmer sprains an ankle, I am comfortable with Leinert at this point.
