Some quick hits from Raiders coach Dennis Allen after practice Monday before I head back into locker room to get players:
^ Allen is “hopeful” that receivers Denarius Moore (hamstring) and Jacoby Ford (foot) and center Stefen Wisniewski (calf) play Monday against Chargers; Wiz was limited in practice today.
^ Moore “is running around,” Allen said. “He’s had a couple of good days back to back”
^ Rookie receiver Juron Criner was favoring his ankle a little running routes Monday but it’s “not a big deal,” Allen said
^ If no Moore or Ford, new cornerback Phillip Adams could return punts. Allen said he returned one for TD in preseason game against Raiders couple years back
^ Re new cornerback Joselio Hanson, Allen said it was “good to get another veteran in young room,” and he’s quick, extremely intelligent
^ Re last year’s four cornerbacks all being gone, Allen said the position needed “an upgrade.”
^ Rookie Miles Burris will be starting at outside linebacker Monday night. “Are there going to be growing pains? Yeah,” Allen said. “But I feel good where he’s at”
